Von Frontignan lohnt sich ein Ausflug in das rund 8 km entfernte Sète. Der heute größte Fischereihafen des Mittelmeers, wegen seiner Kanäle gern als “Venedig Frankreichs” bezeichnet, wurde 1666 von Ludwig XIV. als Endpunkt des Canal du Midi gegründet. Hier kann man dem Musée Paul Valéry einen Besuch abstatten, das Exponate aus Leben und Werk des 1871 hier geborenen Dichters sowie zur Geschichte der Stadt zeigt.
