Von der Treene an deren Westende Richtung Süd in den Westersielzug, dort nach ca. 700 Meter Richtung Ost in das Hafenbecken. Von der Eider kommend bei Kilometer 84 bzw. bei der Stumpftonne 98 Richtung Nord-Nord-West durch die Schleuse, dann nach ca. 150 Metern Richtung Ost in das Hafenbecken. Im Westersielzug die Durchfahrtshöhe der Brücke beachten.
