Das kleine Fischerdorf Lohme am nördlichen Ende des Nationalparks Jasmund ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Von hier kann man bei ruhiger See auch unterhalb des Steiluferwegs nach Sassnitz entlanglaufen. Die Ausbeute der Fischer kommt in den örtlichen Lokalen fangfrisch auf den Teller oder wird in der Traditionsräucherei Lohme verarbeitet.
