Die größte Sehenswürdigkeit von Commercy, allerdings nur von außen zu besichtigen, ist das Barockschloss, das von Charles Henri de Lorraine-Vaudémont an der Stelle einer mittelalterlichen Burg erbaut wurde. Die Fassadengestaltung erinnert an Schloss Lunéville. Weitere interessante Baudenkmäler in Commercy sind die Kirche St-Pantaléon aus dem 16. Jh. sowie das barocke Rathaus (Hôtel de Ville).
