Der Betonnung und Befeuerung der Westerschelde folgen, dabei den zeitweise sehr starken Gezeitenstrom, den regen Berufsschifffahrtsverkehr und die Schnellfähren beachten. Ununterbrochene Hörwache auf dem entsprechenden Traffic Area Kanal halten, gilt auch für Sportboote. Südlich der Spitztonne 109 (Iso.8s) nach Stb in den Dockhafen. Die Tore stehen in der Regel von 1 h vor bis 1 h nach HW offen. Unmittelbar nordöstlich der Hafeneinfahrt eine Warteboje.
