Sehenswert ist die Altstadt von Køge mit dem mittelalterlichen Marktplatz. Das Kunstmuseet Køge Skitsesamling hat sich – wie der Name schon sagt – auf Skizzen verlegt und beschreibt den Kunstprozess von der Idee bis zur Ausführung. Schloss Vallø (6 km südlich von Køge) besitzt zwei ungleiche Türme und einen bekannten Zwiebelgarten. Er ist ganzjährig geöffnet, während das Schloss selbst nicht zugänglich ist.
