Von der “Pont Vieux”, der alten Steinbrücke aus dem 14. Jh., hat man einen schönen Blick auf das linke Tarnufer und über die Ziegeldächer der alten Bastide Montauban. Kunstfreunde können das Musée Ingres besuchen, das vor allem Werke des in Montauban geborenen klassizistischen Malers Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (1780-1867) und weitere Kunst aus dem 14.-18. Jh. zeigt. Sehenswert sind außerdem die arkadengesäumte Place Nationale, die Kathedrale (17./18. Jh.), in deren Inneren das berühmte Werk “Voeu de Louis XIII” von Ingres zu sehen ist, sowie die Kirche St-Jaques (14./15. Jh.).
