Ports de Cassy et Vieux Port de Taussat

Follow the buoyed and lighted Passe Nord fairway into the bay, passing the bar where the buoyage begins. Be careful in adverse current/wind conditions and in strong onshore winds. A swell of 1m or more makes the threshold impassable. Strong tidal currents may set across the fairway in the channel. Continue E through the Rade d’Eyrac fairway, then proceed through the Chenal du Teich whose beginning is marked with beacons; the last section of the entrance channel dries high. The W side of the harbour entrance channel is flanked by a training wall.
