Die ursprüngliche Klosterkirche des Klosters Malchow wurde als Feldsteinkirche bereits 1235 errichtet. Nach einem Brand 1888 entwarf Georg Daniel im Stil der Neogotik den Neubau; er dient heute als Ausstellungsraum des Orgelmuseums sowie als Ort für Konzerte und Trauungen. Die Malchower Stadtmühle ist rund 130 Jahre alt und schon von weitem gut sichtbar. Als deutschlandweit einzige Windmühle wird mit ihr Strom erzeugt. Ein malerisches Ensemble ist außerdem der Gebäudekomplex aus Rathaus, Amtsgericht und Standesamt rund um den Alten Markt auf der Malchower Insel.
