[Note: The boat is at a boatyard since October 2022. I am not there very often, so a viewing would need to be scheduled well in advance.]I bought ahora in 2016 from her long-term previous owner and refitted and equipped her for long term cruising. She has been my home since 2019 and I have sailed her over 5000 miles around Europe from Hamburg to Greece. My motto for outfitting the boat: "As simple as possible, as safe as necessary."This philosophy has served me very well and the boat has been very reliable with no technical problems during my 6 years of ownership. The reason I sell the boat is that we are now a couple and both living and working from the boat. So we need a bit more space.ahora was built in 1965 by Malmö Flygindustri as hull #89. Laurin Kosters are famous for their very solid construction. But she also shows surprisingly good sailing performance for a 57 year old boat with a full keel. (I have overtaken quite a few much larger and more modern boats. Bye bye, Bavaria 40... 😉 )List of Equipment Hull: - Hull and deck are cored with foam. No soft spots on deck.
