Hull built on Rügen around 1969. Acquired by a german woodworker from the Slien area, who did the fitting and finishing work with a great deal of attention to detail. He unfortunately never got to sail the ship, due to his untimely passing away. It was subsequently acquired by another german. from then and until the acquisition by long-time sailor friends in 1999, the story of the ship is unknown to us.It was acquired for leisurely summer sailing trips as an upgrade to a Nordisk Folkebåd, concurrently and subsequently used as a family summer vacation getaway stay in the waters around Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany along with shorter weekend- and day-trips. Was on a 3-month journey to the Lofoten archipelago in northern Norway in 2005.It has been stored under roof every winter and undergone early maintenance. In 2010 we decided laminate the outer hull below the waterline with fiberglass due to deterioration of the original glue. The process was performed with consultancy from a specialist in fiber laminates from technological institute with prior experience in fiberglass laminating wooden hulls.The mainsail (3Di NORDAC 330 10,850 Dpi) is from 2020 and as such in mint condition. The genoa is about 20 years old, but still in good condition.
