The distribution of the rigging, with the self-tacking jib, the electric furling and code 0 furling and the winches within easy reach of the helmsman, guarantee easy and safe navigation even with a small crew over long distances.The design creates very large stowage spaces with a dedicated liferaft compartment in the cockpit, lockers dedicated to gas bottles and equipment, and a large tender garage with aft hatch that can be opened and accessed from above.The internal layout allows for long stays at anchor without the need for supplies in port, thanks to a galley layout with capacities and equipment comparable to boats of larger dimensions. Arrangement with owner?s cabin forward, port aft cabin with double bed which effectively serves as a second owner?s cabin in terms of volume and containment, starboard aft cabin with separate regular size beds with comfortable corridor between.At the bow there is a crew cabin with toilet and sink which can serve as a large sail locker with shelves and storage compartmnets.OWNER?S COMMENTSugar 2 was my second Solaris and fourth in my family. (now we are thinking about the fifth) With Sugar 2, which was created to meet my needs, we managed to have the perfect boat: I often sail only with my wife and, even though there are only two of us, Sugar is easy to sail and moor. It has all the options that have allowed me to always navigate safely and calmly.I only participate in the Solaris Cup every year in Porto Rotondo, a unique event to which one can only be present to spend time in the company of friends. Although it is the only regatta we participate in on a regular basis, I know that Sugar 2 is well equipped to tackle other regattas in the hands of more daring owners as well.Whether it?s for quiet family outings or regattas, Sugar 2 is the ideal boat!
