The history of this boat is not common as the first owner target was to sail in Polynesia - his first and still current name is reflecting Polynesian boats. After 16 months of sailing with first owner, we sold her in Pacific to the second owner who did a long Pacific trip: Med coast, WI, Panama, French Polynesia and Pacific. Then purchased by the third and current owner who finished the Pacific trip direction to Asia, now berthed at Malaysia. On Christophe Barreau Neuman plans and Darnet Design inside, this most renowned design is elegant, performant and easy to sail. Extensive work has been done on her recently to keep her looking gorgeous and in perfect working condition. She has completed one half of a world circumnavigation under three owners. She is ready for the next ten years without the need for rigging refits. She is a safe and fast cruising offshore boat, that offers to show double digit speeds under sails. This Outremer 45 has been sailed two-handed for the last few years and even without electric winches has been a pleasure to manage.
