Four Winns V305 mid-cabin express cruiser. It is an excellent boat which is an economical solution. The boat has two of those major design innovations: an extended height windshield that’s about twice the height of any normal cruiser really helpful in keeping everyone dry. Also, the placement of the galley in the cockpit instead of the usual location inside the cabin works very well. Time on board is enjoyed in the cockpit and that, food being such a big part of that entertainment and pleasure.

The V305 still provides an in-cabin refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker for those “first things in the morning”. There is a sink and a water supply in the head. In the cockpit, along the port side, is a cooker, refrigerator, sink with water and storage compartments. The cockpit table is large enough for a boat this size to handle any entertaining and a standard cabana hardtop with full enclosure camper canvas in black.

We’ve been using the boat for years, but the kids have grown up and don’t want to use it, although you can use it alone because it has a joystick.

There are many other neat features incorporated into the cabin interior is spacious and four and has a ‚roomy‘ feel with six feet, four inches of headroom plus large hull windows and two skylights of platform plus an armored hatch.

The boat has premium materials and fabrics in the cabin. A huge U-shaped dinette forward converts to a day/full-time saloon or additional sleeping for two, the upper-level V-berth. A curtain provides privacy to this area also a watertight bulkhead with a door.

The mid-cabin berth is fitted with a normal queen-size spring mattress allowing the use of regular fitted sheets. A VacuFlush® porcelain head is standard equipment. Water level and waste tank indicators are standard. Sony entertainment in the cabin and in the cockpit.

Both engines are the Volvo Penta 300 horsepower joystick control system
