PRICE REDUCED 40%. My focus is now on a new project (apartment renovation) and I therefore reduce the price significantly to facilitate a quicker sale.REPAIR WORKS COMPLETED. The boat is currently on land nearby Bilbao, Spain at a reputable boatyard where repair works on the keel has been completed after an unfortunate incident where I sailed onto a sandbank outside of Arcachon, France. The boat is built like a battle tanks and there was only minor damage to the keel. My insurance covered all the repair works of damages to the keel as well as detailed inspections (and repairs, if necessary) of all other key components of the boat. Please see more details below.Bacchant IV group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/532360937171745
More about Knud Rejmers, the designer of Bacchant IV: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knud_ReimersThis is a classic ocean sailing yacht, designed by Knud Reimers for long-distance blue ocean sailing, and built in Sweden as the last boat in the series. This sailboat is extremely solid and handles heavy weather beautifully. She cannot be compared with modern sailboats with hulls thin like an eggshell. This was demonstrated in practice when I hit a sandbank outside of Arcachon in France. As shown by the photos, the damage to the keel was relatively limited. For your benefit and confidence my insurance covers not only the necessary repair works of the keel, but also a thorough inspection of other parts of the boat that might have been damaged and related repair works (if any). The boat has a lot of long-distance equipment such as bow thruster, wind steering, solar cells, steps in the mast, all sails on rolls, lots of tools, etc. etc. The boat is sold very reasonably as it is still in need of some upgrades and improvements. I wish that someone who knows what this is can get it cheap so that it can be worked on with love and care.Recently undertaken work/purchases:
