A unique opportunity to acquire a modern Swedish classic with international renown.Elektra is designed by C.G. Pettersson and built in the 1920s-30s. The hull and cabin are made of mahogany with teak accents. It has a hull that is as efficient as it is beautiful. Under the foredeck, there is a cabin with two small berths that can be converted into a smaller bed with an insert. Elektra has a two-part canopy in good condition that offers standing height and has openings, with zippers, at the stern, bow, and sides.The cockpit consists of an aft bench with storage. Forward, on each side, there are benches that house the boat’s batteries. In front of the port bench is the helm with a steering wheel, battery gauge, and throttle/gear control. In front of the console, the space that previously housed one of the boat's fuel tanks has been converted into a bar cabinet/storage.On the starboard side, in front of the bench, we find the original interior in the form of a small storage space with a hatch, as well as the space previously occupied by the boat's other fuel tank. This space has also been modified and is now a place for shore power connection, charger, fuses, and the boat's 12V battery.Elektra is equipped with a modern drivetrain specifically designed for the boat. Only the finest components have been used: motor control from BorgWarner, electric motor from American Motenergy, and batteries from LG-chem. The boat, with its unique drivetrain, has been featured in numerous magazines both in Sweden and internationally. In 2022, Elektra was voted the winner in the international competition: The Gustave Trouvé Awards for Excellence in Electric Boats and Boating.The boat is equipped with a battery bank that lasts for about 40 nautical miles at 6 knots (18 kWh). The battery is charged with a standard 230V outlet. The battery status, power output, and "time left to run" can be easily read on the gauge at the helm or via a mobile phone.Elektra has gone through extensive renovation over the last decade. The previous owner replaced the aft part of the keel, the garboard plank and the next coming plank. The knee in the bow is also new. Most of the interior has been rebuilt during the electric conversion. Solid wood, mahogany and teak has been used.
