The Dansail 45 is an exclusive worldcruiser with solid sailing characteristics. Only 3 units have been built. Dansail 45, designed by Lars Olsen and built in aluminum at Svendborg Shipyard. "Sophie Amalie" is number 2 in the series and was built in 2004, but practically did not sail until October 2008. The boat is extremely seaworthy and easy to sail. It is equipped for long-distance voyages and upgraded over the past 6 years for many hundreds of thousands DKK, i.a. with bowspear for the windlass, a solid wardrobe, new navigation, watermaker, solar panels, bowthruster and much, much more... If you want a plug-and-play long-distance boat or a luxury residence in the first row, then this yacht is an obvious choice. It is constructed with 3 x 500 liter ballast tanks on each side, which gives the boat stability and speed. The rig has been checked.Rod rig with stern stay for trim fitted. The Storskøde blocks have been changed to strong Frederiksen blocks. Under deck, everything is in a nice design - the interior is made of the finest red mahogany.There is Alcantar on all cushions, specially developed blinds and designer fittings. There is plenty of space and comfort here with 3 cabins with double berths and a nice bright saloon where the sofa can also act as a double berth, a fully equipped pantry, two toilets and heating throughout. The boat has been on long voyages to, among other places Norway, Turkey, Portugal, Southern Europe and BVI and is now in Denmark waiting for a new owner.
