For sale one from almost 1000 pcs produced – Benetau First Class 8.
This is a racing boat with posibility of staying for the night or two – daysailer.
As mentioned – almost 1000 pcs were produced between 1982 and 1994 year.
Yacht data:

With proper crew and wind , yacht can reach 14 knt of speed – planning.
Jacht equipment:
1. Outboard engine in perfect condition – bought by previous owners as new in 2021 (bill for confirmation). There is output for battery charging
2. Sails
a. GIB rolled – Good condition (laminate)
b. Main – poor condition , needs to be replaced (laminate with holes, delamination),
New main sail has arrived (see picture) – 21,76 m2 Contander CDX 7 from Narwal PL.(2 refs, long bag)
c. Genaker – good condition
d. Halfwinder rolled – good condition
3. Electronics
a. Log speed and depth (Navman),
b. autopilot Navico 1800,
c. ploter Geonav 7 z maps of Holland and West Germany
4. Sails covers – needs repairs, jib cover – new ordered.
7. Tent for cockpit
I bought yacht year ago. It has been prepared for new season with new hard antifouling and some hull repairs (this needs to be finished – tape removed and polished)
Hull in good condition with small issues on the deck.
Yacht has tunned keel – middle part is light metal /fiberglass structure with proper weight on the end, unfortunately this casued some issues (damage during lifting in NL) and now it is repaired with new bearing – there is posibility of lifting keel by 30-50 cm , after that forces are very high and I am afraid to damage more lifting system. Keel was pulled up during taking yacht out from the water.
Electric needs to be checked as deck equipment is not working – with direct connection to battery it works. I started to repair it.
There are two more tunned things:
– carbon V boom
– top of the mast is reinforced and can handle genaker (in standard version – spinaker not on top)
There is trailer which fits perfect. Total weight with load: 2000 kg. can handle 1500 kg and up to 9 m long boats. Price includes trailer. Trailer is registered , insured.
Yacht is taken out from the water and stored in dry hall.
Reason of salling: not enought time for all hobbies and family
Dispite fact that I want to sell Yacht – it will be slowly prepared for new season (with plan of using it more 🙂 )
Planned works:
1. Hull, cleaning, polishing and protaction (wax or ceramic). Done
2. Keel – , new support and bearing for lifting system are planned. (New parts has arrived – see picture). Done
3. Main sail – new sail is planned to be bought – 99% it will be Contander CDX 7 – new sail will have 21,5 m2. Update. As above – new main sail has been delivered, hence price has increased.
4. Electric – repairs on going , wires exchange started.
5. Deck equipment repair – some clamps are damaged. Already bought some clamps and parts (Harken)
Price may chenage after some points are implemented (mainly new sail).
