General Description:
The Bavaria 30 Cruiser is a small coastal cruising sailboat, designed to combine elegance and functionality. The result of the collaboration between the German shipyard Bavaria and the J&J design studio, this model is the smallest of the cruising range offered by the shipyard, but not without interesting features.
Design and Hull:The Bavaria 30 Cruiser has modern lines with a well-proportioned hull and a limited freeboard, which contribute to a slender aesthetic. It is equipped with a cast iron bulb.
Cockpit: The cockpit is designed for comfort and safety, with a large dodge that protects from waves and wind. The ergonomic seats are designed for long stays on board, and the helm column, combined with the teak table and instrument console, offers easy access to the controls and navigation instruments.
Sail plan: The sail plan is divided into 9/10, a choice that facilitates maneuverability and makes the boat easier to handle even with a reduced crew.
Interior:
The interiors of the Bavaria 30 Cruiser are spacious and well ventilated, thanks to the six opening skylights on the deckhouse and two additional ones, which allow good air circulation. The organization of the interior spaces is designed to offer comfort and functionality, including:
Double cabin in the bow: A comfortable cabin with enough space for a relaxing rest.
Saloon: Equipped with a central table and facing seats, ideal for moments of conviviality or meals on board. The seats convert into two single beds.
The L-shaped galley makes efficient use of space, while the chart table allows for easy route planning with a generously sized table.
Engine:
The Bavaria 30 Cruiser is equipped with a 19 hp Volvo Penta engine, powerful enough for port maneuvers and coastal cruising.
These features make the Bavaria 30 Cruiser an excellent choice for those looking for a compact but well-finished cruising boat, suitable for coastal cruising with a good mix of comfort and performance.
