Sailing friends!
After much consideration, I’ve decided to sell my beloved Tekla — a classic Dragon built in 1938 at the Arendal boatyard (Gothenburg), crafted in beautiful Oregon Pine.
She’s currently located in Stockholm, Sweden, and is fully ready for racing. Most recently, she’s sailed some local races around Stockholm.
Included in the sale are two sets of sails, including three spinnakers, with one jib recently fully re-stitched. She also comes with a Yamaha 5hp outboard engine.
Each fall and winter, she’s been stored in a boathouse and given a fresh coat of varnish every year. The hull and iron keel have been carefully maintained each season.
The most recent major project was stripping down, oiling, and re-varnishing the gunwale and deck edge. Naturally, she’s fully prepped for the upcoming season.
She’s scheduled for launch in two weeks and is waiting for a new captain. Interested — or know someone looking for a classic Dragon? Send me a message and I’ll be happy to tell you more.
Fair winds!
// Wilhelm
