The Jeanneau Gin Fizz is a proven and popular design among sailors who value reliability, space and seaworthiness. This French sailing yacht, designed by Michel Joubert, is known for its robust construction and excellent sailing characteristics. This makes it extremely suitable for long sailing trips and comfortable living on board. All lines can be operated from the spacious cockpit, which makes sailing easy and safe. The mainsail and genoa have recently been renewed by the current owner, who has owned the ship since 2016. The navigation equipment is also recent and clearly visible from the steering position. The cockpit can be completely covered with the cockpit tent, which is easy to remove. The deck equipment, including winches, traveller and anchor, is of good quality. In 2007, the yacht was thoroughly renovated by the previous owner. This included repainting the hull and renewing the interior. A reconditioned Perkins diesel engine was installed in 2008. That same year, the underwater hull was also treated against osmosis. In July 2024, the underwater hull was provided with a new layer of antifouling.
The interior has been completely renovated by the previous owner, with the saloon and the fore cabin being combined into one spacious living. Thanks to the hatches and side windows, there is plenty of natural light. In the forepeak there is a spacious and comfortable double bed. The fixed table with seating also serves as a navigation corner. The settee can be used as an extra berth. The galley is fully equipped with a cooker, sink, cooling drawer, microwave and extractor hood. The heads has a sink and a hand pump toilet. There is also a waste water tank. For extra comfort, there is both a Dickinson diesel heater and a hot air heater. Behind the cockpit there is an aft cabin with separate entrance. The current owner has installed a new bed base here for a single sea berth. From the aft cabin the helm is within easy reach. The aft cabin has no cushions or wall cover yet. Material for the wall covering is already present.
