The Mirage 29 (1982), built by Thames Marine, is a beautifully restored sailing yacht that blends classic design with thoughtful modern upgrades. With an overall extended length of 10.5 meters (including a rear platform and bow extension) and a beam of 2.92 meters, she offers impressive space and comfort for a boat of her class.
Ideal for a small family or a group of up to six people, this vessel features two cozy cabins, a spacious saloon with a folding dining table, and clever convertible sleeping arrangements.
The interior has been lovingly maintained, with attention to detail evident throughout – from the warm wood finishes to the practical galley equipped with a two-burner gas stove, oven, and a 70-liter freezer that keeps drinks icy even on hot days.
This Mirage 29 has undergone a comprehensive refit by its second owner and is fully prepared for the sailing season. The original engine was replaced with a reliable Sole Diesel 27hp engine, which has only 414 hours of use and was recently serviced.
Her mechanical and electrical systems have all been upgraded, including a new shaft sleeve, fully renewed valves, and reinforced engine room insulation with a dedicated camera linked to the onboard TV for monitoring.
Comfort and self-sufficiency are key features of this boat, with amenities such as hot water, an electric toilet, dual showers (indoor and outdoor), solar panels, inverters, and modern navigation electronics, including new Icom AIS and VHF units. With 200 liters of freshwater, 70 liters of diesel, and a 6-person life raft on board, this vessel is more than ready for extended coastal adventures or spontaneous weekend escapes.
