BUILDERS REMARKS: The Leopard 40, crafted by South African builders Robertson & Caine, showcases a unique and modern design developed by experienced naval architects Simonis and Voogd along with Robertson & Caine’s design team. This model retains the speed, agility, and blue-water performance of its predecessors while featuring enhancements like increased hull volume and an innovative interior layout. The galley is positioned forward, complemented by a forward-facing settee and window, along with an access door to the forward platform. This design allows for a panoramic view through large sliding glass doors that connect the saloon and the aft cockpit, promoting easy communication for guests and a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living spaces.
BROKERS REMARKS: ANCHOR BEER is one of the last available models with no hurricane history due to her age. This yacht features a 4 cabin, 2 head layout of the popular 40 model, with an altered version that includes walk-around aft cabins. It has a lighter Ash interior, air conditioning, a generator, Yanmar engines, electric davits, and a walk-through forward door. The engine hours are lower than normal due to the slow Covid times.
AVAILABILITY: This yacht was released from the fleet on 31st March 2025 and is preparing for the phase-out process. After release, the yacht will head to St Lucia for phase-out and closing.
