BUILDERS REMARKS: The Leopard 40, crafted by South African builders Robertson & Caine, showcases a modern design by naval architects Simonis and Voogd along with the Robertson & Caine design team. This model maintains the speed, agility, and blue-water performance of its predecessors while featuring enhancements such as increased hull volume and a unique interior layout. The galley is positioned forward, complemented by a forward-facing settee, a window, and an access door to the forward platform. This design allows for panoramic views through large sliding glass doors connecting the saloon and the aft cockpit, fostering easy communication and an open flow between indoor and outdoor living spaces.
BROKERS REMARKS: ANCHOR BEER is one of the last available models with no hurricane history due to her age. This yacht features a 4 cabin, 2 head layout of the popular 40 model, including walk-around aft cabins. It has a lighter Ash interior, air conditioning, a generator, Yanmar engines, electric davits, and a walk-through forward door. The engine hours are lower than usual due to slow Covid times.
AVAILABILITY: This yacht was released from the fleet on 31st March 2025 and is preparing for the phase-out process. After release, the yacht will head to St Lucia for phase-out and closing.
