Sailaway is a cold moulded mahogany Dragon, built in
2007. Only three of these absolutely magnificent yachts
were made. They were built under Petticrows’ license by
by Estonian Sky Yachts, which manufactured teak decks for Petticrows Dragons.
The quality of the woodwork and rigging is absolutely
magnificent. Sailaway is strong, stable and very fast,
especially in strong winds where the extremely stiff hull
was made for that challenge. The yacht is really as good and fast as it looks.
Sailaway was brought to Finland by her second owner
in 2018. She has participated in a couple of regattas per season and used actively for day sailing.
The yacht has been completely spray varnished during
Autumn 2024. She is in absolutely gorgeous condition
and stored close to Helsinki, Finland.
