Porto Lotti

The oldest part of La Spezia extends around the Castello San Giorgio including remnants of the town wall. Corso Cavour, an elegant shopping street, is only a few steps away. In Via Curtatone, which branches off from Corso Cavour, the interesting archaeological museum is well worth a visit, and the Centro di Arte Moderna (centre of modern art) is not far either.
